Lens Care
Your VELOX lenses feature premium performance coatings, including a scratch-resistant hard coat. Proper care helps keep your vision clear and your lenses performing their best.
A few simple habits can help preserve coating performance and extend the life of your lenses.
Cleaning
1. Remove any visible dust or debris before wiping your lenses.
2. Use your Brioti microfiber cloth or pouch for regular cleaning.
3. For stubborn smudges, use Brioti PICKLE JUICE™ lens cleaner or clean water.
Do not clean your lenses with alcohol, paper towels, clothing, or harsh cleaners, as they may damage the lens coatings.
Storage
Store your VELOX frame and lenses in the included protective case when not in use. The case helps protect against scratches, pressure, and loose items. Make sure lenses are clean and dry before storing.
Anti-Fog Performance
For added anti-fog performance on GLINTX™ lenses, use the Brioti SHIFT90° Anti-Fog Cloth.
VAPORID™ lenses feature a factory-applied anti-fog coating for enhanced fog resistance. SHIFT90° is intended for use with GLINTX™ lenses.

Free indoor-only VELOX clear lenses included with early orders may be marked DC-G or DC-V, but provide UV380 protection only. Brioti’s standard UV400 DINKUM (Clear) lens will be available in a future production run.

VELOX has been tested and is in compliance with ASTM F3164-24 for eye protectors for pickleball.
VELOX is also compliant with ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020, including high-impact requirements, and is marked Z87+.
Important Safety Warnings
No eyewear can guarantee safety. Protective eyewear cannot protect against all eye injuries, facial injuries, or brain injuries that may occur while participating in racket sports.
If your eyewear is severely impacted, the degree of protection provided may be reduced and the eyewear must be replaced. Failure to do so may result in permanent injury to the eye.
If a lens pops out due to impact during play, stop playing immediately and replace the eyewear.
Replace lenses when scratches become troublesome or if cracks appear at the edges.
If eyewear has been stored at cold temperatures, allow it to return to room temperature before use.
Before Play
Inspect eyewear before each use. Confirm the frame and lenses are free from damage and that each lens is properly inserted and securely seated. Cracked, damaged, improperly fitted, or impacted eyewear may not provide the intended level of protection.
Use only authentic Brioti replacement lenses and components. Non-Brioti parts may reduce protection and increase the risk of injury.
Assumption of Risk
Participation in pickleball and other racket sports carries inherent risk, including severe eye injury or permanent vision loss, even when protective eyewear is worn. By using Brioti eyewear, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
